Program Qualifications.
The Youth Football Development Coalition primarily seeks out programs that meet the following criteria:
Invested in primarily serving kids from economically underserved communities.
Documented program philosophy and values that are aligned with the mission of the coalition (or a willingness to work with the coalition to develop this at a minimum).
Dedicated time commitment to the coalition. This includes a commitment to attending the annual in-person clinic and coaching Zoom sessions. Additionally, each program must maintain a willingness to review the football, character and academic foundations of their program on an ongoing basis with the pillar leads.
Commitment to implement both a Player/Parent and Coaches Code of Conduct policy. These can be uniquely designed to meet the expectations of each program.
Documented administrative roles for the program (or a willingness to work with the coalition to develop this at a minimum).

Our program qualifications are intentionally somewhat general because of the fact that the coalition is built on relationships. More than anything, our decision to move forward in partnering with a program will be determined by extensive communication with the key members of a youth program to determine if they are the right fit. Our thorough approach is driven by our desire to ensure we are partnering with the right programs that are truly in this for the kids prior to making any major investments.
